Do you play pickleball? Are you interested but haven’t had the chance to learn? Join SCC for an afternoon of fun open to players of all abilities and experience. Equipment and lessons will be shared with newcomers to the game and more experienced players can compete for bragging rights. This fall, we are launching a book study and discussion group which kicks off with Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. Amazon's summary of Screwtape describes it as "At once wildly comic, deadly serious, and strikingly original, C.S. Lewis gives us the correspondence of the wordly-wise devil to his nephew Wormwood, a novice demon in charge of securing the damnation of an ordinary young man. The Screwtape Letters is the most engaging account of temptation—and triumph over it—ever written." The group will gather at SCC every-other Monday night at 6:30pm to discuss a segment of the book. This month, all ladies are invited to a no-talent-required craft night. Meet in the Upper Room at SCC for fun and conversation while enjoying a creative outlet. A $2 donation is suggested for materials.
