Enjoy an evening with the girls! All ladies ages 17 and older are invited to our Girlfriends' Night, a time dedicated to catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. This month's activity is service-oriented: we will prep and decorate for Vacation Bible School. All talents and giftings will be needed, both creative and detail-oriented. SCC is proud to host the Matin Tour, featuring Jess Ray, in our worship center on Saturday, July 19, at 7pm. The Matin Tour will be peaceful and honest evenings of creativity and connection, that feel sonically familiar for those who listen to the MATIN project. Jess Ray creates music for those who are searching — blending innovative sounds with meditations on life, faith, and the human experience. There’s a place for everyone in Jess’ community of friendly-folk music. This summer, SCC is joining with churches around the city to host a weekly gathering focused on prayer, worship, and unity. Each week, the citywide church will come together simply to pray and worship. A different church will host every Thursday, 6:30-8pm, from June 12 through August 21. We hope you will consider attending several, if not all, of these gatherings. SCC is hosting on Thursday, June 19, and would love to see many of our church family there.
